I liked in Mariners last night at +180, now that Felix is pitching M's are +120 and my book changed it on me. Can they do this? I submitted the bet as an "ACTION" bet.

On a bet I actually submitted? I know they can cancel wagers, but to adjust the line I locked in?

It is because you selected an action bet so that means that you have action on that bet no matter if the starters start the game or not. If they do not strart the game the line is adjusted according to the new starter and you are locked in because you have action on that game!

I know what action means, but I thought once you locked in a price that's what you get. That's not the case?

When the starter is changed and you have action, you get the new line as soon as it's made. At that point you are locked in (unless there's another pitching change).

I was really surprised the Books had Snell listed as starting for Saturday. Because Friday morning (west coast time) Wakamatsu had announced his pitching flip flop of Snell moving to Sunday and Hernandez going Saturday. It was announced hours before Fridays game.

you shouldn't be betting if you don't know the rules. you can't drive a car if you don't know the rules, why would you invest money if you son't know the rules.
look at it this way. say you bet Haliday of the phils one day and he was -200. then he didn't pitxh and they put in sone monor leaguer just brought up.
you want to lay -200?? of course not. you have 4 options in baseball. listed pitchers- both pitchers must throw at least one pitch. you can choose to
go with just one pitcher if you like him alot or hate the other pitcher. or the default is action. that means just that--action. no matter who pitches
you have actgion. however, if there is a pitching change, then game goes down, a new line comes out, and that becomes your new line-before any
moves.

everyone has given you the correct answers here......

I think sometimes guys are confused, thinking they "lockedin " a line......cuz in other sports, basically you do....If the lines come out in the middle of the week, and u bet Dallas (+7) against the colts, then they announce Peyton won't play, and Dallas goes to (-3) favorite, you still have your Dallas bet, and a good one....

NBA you bet PHX (+6) against the lakers, then Kobe pulls a hammy in warmups, line drops but u still have action......

But to be safe, always go with "listed" for your pitchers, then this cant happen to you
