The Twinkies look to take game two of the series tonight and throw Pavano at the Rangers. The Rangers on the other had have quietly been a good team. They seem to be a little undervalued in my opinion here. Although I would like to get a little more on my money here with Cruz being questionable, (maybe a pinch hit) I'll take my chances and here's why: Pavano vs the Rangers holds a .449 average against vs Expected Starters. Wilson on the other hand holds the Twins to a .182 average. Evenly matched vs Bullpens. Home plate Umpire is 50/50 on Home teams. The Rangers last 20 are 12-8 while the Twins have been below .500. I'm concerned how Wilson has pitched last two starts however the market is showing that in the price and how poorly Pavano has been vs these hitters. Wilson has been extremely effective on the road this year. If you have some spare pocket change I would look into 1st 5 on the Rangers as well.
