is it just me, or is the sound of his voice and sympathetic stories starting to wear on you? i almost cannot watch anything if he is involved.

Jim Nantz is one of the best communicators that ever lived. He is articulate, and he connects with his audience as if they were friends of his. World class broadcaster.

"Just when everybody says u can't, u can, and U-CONN has won the national championship"
Nantz right after UCONN beat Duke.
He does live 5 minutes south of here in Westport Ct.

Illini's assesment may be a little over the top, but love him or hate him, he is one of this generation's best.
Has won numerous awards, including a sports emmy.
