I just hit LAD team total over 4.5 runs. Most incredible game, had absolutely no business winning it. First off, bottom 8, Kelly Johnson commits a fielding and throwing error on same play to let the tying runs score 4-4. Then bottom 9, 1st and 2nd 0 out. The 3rd baseman for Az goes to talk to the pitcher yet time hasn't been called, Troy Loney, who's on second tries to take 3rd, which he could have made. Instead he turns around goes back to 2nd, slips, and because he slips, gets caught in a run down. Casey Blake though makes a huge play and gets to 2nd. Martin then ends up grounding out and Blake gets to 3rd. Here's where I have no idea what happened. 2-0 count on Dewitt, Blake bluffs heading down the line, then Vasquez points at Blake. Have no idea what he was trying to accomplish by pointing at him. When that happens, a balk is called and Blake scores. If someone could explain to me what Vasquez was trying to do, it would be appreciated, weirdest thing I've seen in a long time. If anyone thinks sports are fixed, this definitely lends creedence to that argument. Incredible win!
