I cannot believe I didn't pull the trigger yesterday on the Rockies..... Incredible value getting Jimmenez at -110 even it was vs Lincecum.
Lincecum was at 97-98mph last year and this year he is between 88-92mph with his fastball. That is a huge difference and he is clearly not as dominant as of late. He is also stuggling with his control. I think maybe he needs to skip a start and get his arm rested up so that he can regain that fastball.
Any thoughts on todays games???
I like the Braves with Hudson on the mound vs the Phillies with Hamels.... The Phillies bats are ice cold right now and it will be tough to break out of a slump vs Hudson. The Braves are starting to hit the ball better now and Hamels only has a fastball and a change up. Hamels needs to develop a 3rd pitch if the Phillies are going to be a contender.
Any other games that look good today ???? Marlins and Redsox anyone???
