I have a 60 something inch Samsung, less than 3 years old.

The other day I couldn't get it to work with the cable box (the only thing hooked up to it at the moment). So I take the box to another TV and with the HDMI hook up it will not work. So I try RCA Hookup (Red, Yellow and White Cables) and it worked fine. I take it back to the Samsung and the Audio cables make my TV hum or buzz. HELP!!!

What is wrong with my baby?? :smoking:

I assume the hum/buzzing is coming from the speakers? If so, that kind of thing is usually related to grounding issues I think... Could be electromagnetic stuff to - make sure the rca cables aren't near power cables.

Why not take the cable box back and exchange it with your provider for a new one? It should cost nothing. This is assuming you don't own the box.
