He is 2 for 4 today with his 17th HR and is a beast.

From Jayson Stark blog

Over the past week, the amazing Cabrera is 13-for-27, with six homers, 11 RBIs, a three-homer game and a 1.722 OPS. Which is ridiculous. But Miguel Cabrera has been on this kind of mission since he showed up for spring training.
His batting average has never dipped below the .330s on any day all season. His on-base percentage has never been lower than .415. His OPS has never dropped under 1.000. And he's on pace to hit (ready for some truly insane numbers?) .352, with 50 home runs, 103 extra-base hits, 160 RBIs, an 1.110 OPS and a .404 average with runners in scoring position.

Say what you want about Miggy he’s been a stalwart. I’m so old l remember when he was with the Marlins and having MLB extra innings since he was a young man I used to tell the guys at work you should see this 3rd basemen the Marlins have. And in true Marlins fashion they traded him.
