all hail nadal.. the 1 surface wonder... as soon as he wins a couple of u.s. opens , a few more wimbletons and a few more aussies , he'll take a back seat to fed, sampras , borg and laver....

Oh, and by the way, he's far from a one surface wonder. He's entered 9 Grand Slams, and won 7 of them.

(plus the guy is only 25 years old)

That's not true

He has 7 slams but has entered a whole lot more than 9

He's won the Australian once, wimbledon once, and never the US Open

He's a great player no doubt who is close to unbeatable on clay but I don't think he'll be able to play at this high of a level for the amount of time Roger has.

until he wins... you knew what i meant... like i've said in the other thread , i think nadal is incredible . i also think he is the best athlete the sport has ever seen.. i hope he does win multiple slams on all surfaces..

I heard them quote this during the french match today, and you are right, it's not true - I should have known. Not sure why they quoted it on TV...
