Well, this game tests my threshold for chalk, but deleloped habits are hard to change and I certainly have developed a habit of taking Silva this season, and it sure as hell isn't about to change against the Bucs. Talk all you want about the Cubbies loosing streak against the Buccos, but I seriously doubt Silva gives a wet rat's ass about that. The man just goes out to the mound and gets it done. All other stats I look at are fairly even over the past 10 games for each team, e.g. BP, hitting % against righties/lefties, etc. so I'm gonna go with the hot hand in this one, as I've done for all of his starts. GLTA

Cubs seem like the right play ... but I always hated betting road chalk.

Dana Eveland's first game with the Pirates.

Cubs not going to want to waste a trip to Pittsburgh. Remember, they are only coming for one day. Nothing would be worse than getting kicked around by the Pirates -- again -- and then having to hop on a plane to get to the next series.

Looks good Paddy, don't see the Bucs scoring first five so pray the Cubs do. Bragg, I hear ya man, but that being said, I've warned countless guys, X-Man included, about betting against Silva this season. I just simply can't believe how little you hear about the guy. I'm sure he's talked about up and down in Chicago with that market, but I live in Cardinal country and you'd think you'd hear more of him with that rivalry, but you don't. In any event, this is a play purely on Silva. As stated, all other things important are fairly equal. Looking forward to getting you back for my strong suit as well. I see much dinero in our futures.
