Some will say Ditkas dancing Bears. Others will go with Walsh' crazy offense of the last 80's. Lombardi's Packers?

I'm curious, who do you think was the GREATEST NFL TEAM OF ALL TIME?

I'm younger and don't remember much before the late 80s, but those Cowboys teams with Aikman, Smith, Irving, and those huge lines were pretty 'effing good.

I agree the Dallas Crackboys have got to be up there.

Have to go with the Cowboys. If not the best offensive line in history, pretty close (though that did make the Aikman-Smith-Irvin combination overrated, even if very good. . . ). Defense was in the top five in most of the important stats

If only the Patriots beat the Giants. . .

never seen any team totally intimidate/domiante others as the Bears did the year they won, think it was 85. Of course that was just one season.

85 Bears or 76 Steelers.....take your pick....I lean towards the Bears; both sides of the ball were dominant and were led by Ditka....

I know the Saints aren't the best team of all time but you have to love that they beat 3 Hall of Fame QB's in the playoffs and beat 5 Superbowl winning QB's throughout the course of the season.

If I am correct they gave up 9 points in the playoffs. Shut out Rams and Giants and gave up 9 to NE.

When I was 9, I thought the Eagles led by Norm VanBrocklin was the greatest team ever.....

85 bears....but i would love to throw out the 99 rams, they had a good defense which was overshadowed by the great offense

My favorite, 1986 Giants, won the first two playoff games 49-3, 17-0, then won the SB by 3 touchdowns.

'85 Bears. Seems like they had three guys running free in the opps backfield right after the snap on every stinkin' play.

One can not argue against the 1985 Bears.
No love for the '67 Packers?
