Going with a rookie pitcher? I know he's a top prospect, but you think he will last the entire 9 innings? :think2: They may only pitch him between 5 to 6 innings just to "get his feet wet" so to speak. What about the Nats' bullpen?

I sincerely wish you the very best with your selection! :toast:

He may throw 60 pitches and get yanked on a tied game or 1 run lead and then bullpen screw up all the strasburg love.lol

He wont be pitching 100 tomm. Ill be shocked if that happens unless he pitching a perfect game we been seeing lately.

Good luck with that but I like Pirates in this situation.

It's too difficult to tell what a pitcher will do on his debut.

not to mention that the RL is risky here cuz Washington's offense has been hella spotty over the last few weeks.

yes did get screwed over on an all in but this one is seriously a no brainer...biggest anticipated pitcher...Ivan Rodriguez is bugging the managers to take him off the DL list...i think thats enough said...players run on energy...these guys will have a ton of it tomorrow....

I think the reports are they will limit him to 91 pitches...

This probably isn't the play to go all-in on, but BOL I'll likely make a play on the Nats RL too since the juice is pretty outrageous. Just gotta hope they don't throw Capps in to close cuz he's been blowing saves lately.

Great play to go all in on...Especially against the pirates on the road and a beast of a pitcher...you literally have to be insane to past this one up..just saying... :103631605:103631605:103631605

He is only expected to go 5 innings, 6 max, or so I have heard.. I'm not a fan of betting baseball big and never play +1.5, but have began to like standard fades, going against the obvious, just because it's too easy, and just being a contrarian, so IMO Pitt +1.5 looks like a solid play here.

How do you know he's a "beast"? Hasn't faced a MLB LU yet! There are a hell of a lot better places to go "all In", if indeed you are!

If you are going to play the Nats it is the runline or nothing. No way you lay that kind of juice on a rookie. I know the Bucs suck, but once in a while they surprise somebody. I probably will just set back and watch this one. Good Luck!

You sound just like Gyno three years ago, with Lincecum when he made his debut against Philly on national TV.
He said "next big thing this, next big thing that...."
I told him the same thing I'll tell you, "no doubt eventually Timmy will be the next big thing, but you better hope Timmys 100 MPH fastball has some movement, because Howard and Utley know what to do with fastalls straight as an arrow"
Long story short, I think it was Howard that hit a moonshot off of Timmy that is still circling one of Saturn's moons.
Timmy's team lost, (he got a ND) and all that Timmy money went buh-bye.

I'm not going to tell you who and how to bet, but I personally think it is foolish to go all in on any game, no less on a minor pitcher making his major league debut.

I'll watch it, I'll root you home, but I wouldn't do it, Strausberg will learn, these are big boy hitters also, just waiting for a piece of the kid.
