Rec: 5-0
Not too terribly excited about the board today, every matchup <150 seemed so damn close in every aspect. So when in doubt, go to something that's been working and that's Mr. Pelfrey. The guy has been nothing short of gold this season and I happen to have been on the collecting end of some of those coins. The guy's numbers last three, at home and at night may not quite be Jimenezesque, but I don't know a pitcher that wouldn't take them. And frankly, Richard's not having a bad year in his own right. BUT, although he's had success against the Mets, ya gotta give the nod to Pelfrey. The other thing I like is the fact that the Mets just continue to pound lefties, not just the last 10 games but the entire season. So they're gonna get the pass in that stat as well. Only blemish for the Mets would be the BP and judging by Manuel's management, or lack of, in the near debacle against the Fish Sunday, this could be a problem. I think Pelfrey remains consistent and true to form and doesn't put my money in the hands of Manuel. That being said, I'll go ahead and lay the heavy chalk for the second day in a row.
Mets -143 Betonline
For you Yanks backers, only one question do you have to answer in today's tilt. Will they win or not? Say you yea, take them on the RL. Baltimore one of the few teams they almost always win by two or more AT Baltimore.
