I am. I've seen this guy pitch several times in San Diego. He's the real deal. Just have to hope his back ups hold up their end.

No way I bet him today at that price. If it keeps going up, I'll probably take some Pirates.

no, he's probably going 5 innings max

I'm thinking about the Pirates. As a professional team, they're not being shown very much respect against this kid.

I like the under 90.5 pitches

that looks like a great bet. His manager was on the Fan when I was going to the dentist, said 6 innings max and he's not throwing 100 pitches.

Rookie Mike Leake of the Reds skipped the minors entirely. He is 5-0 with a 2.22 ERA.

If this other kid starts out anything close to what Leake has done, they will probably elect him to the Hall of Fame.

I doubt his numbers look as nice as Leake after 5 games, yet he will get all the hype cause he throws 100mph.

Willie99, Thanks. Actually I got to give credit where it is due. I got the idea from the Dan Patrick show when they were discussing prop bets. If I am not mistaken, that is a BoDog prop. Have not actually seen it for myself.

Jaime Garcia having the best year so far out of rookies. 1.47 ERA in 11 starts.

he only pitched in the minors b/c of that arbitration rule/clause or whatever, it allows the Nationals to hold onto his rights for 1 extra season.

giants tried to do the same with posey, but realized they needed some real bats and caved in and brought him up
