Hmmmm...That was my first thought when I saw this total posted. I would have expected the total to be at 7.5 not 8.5
Hernandez has been on fire lately -- in his last outing going 8 innings, giving up 5 hits, 1 ER, and striking out 9. Kolby Smith has been solid all year long with an ERA of 3.08 at home. In all of his starts, O/U has been 3-8 this season while in Hernandez' last 2 starts there have been a total of 5.5 runs scored per game (both went Under).
5 out of the last 7 games between these 2 squads, has gone UNDER the posted total.
Seattle is 7-15 O/U after a win on the season and I expect them to be 7-16 O/U after tonight's low scoring affair.
