Lot of 8 Stephen Strasburg baseballs. Autographed with proof of the signing. I just wanted to check and see what his stuff was going for and these only had a minute left and were at $280 with shipping. Thought about bidding since they came out to $35 each or so. Auction ended before I could get a bid in and then I realized that they were selling for $90-$110 each separately on there.

Whoops.

Figured I'd share.

if your going to take a 4 x 5 photo from 15-20 feet away as proof of authenticity on a lot of 8 balls, you have no business buying sports memorabilia in hopes of making a profit. The reason the lot went so cheap is your coa is probably going to be some photo shop print off the seller did on his computer. If you want to buy a ball stick with a legit brand like psa/dna authentic and have the peace of mind knowing its real (for the most part)

The person selling them had a quality Ebay rating in the 1000's... It's still possible he could have faked them though.

i imagine that is the lot you speak of, feedback of 32. Feedback has nothing to do with selling a quality good. Some of the people on ebay with the highest feedback are ones who are selling fake patch cards for 100's and 1000's of dollars. Sports cards and memorabilia is a billion dollar industry, it is alot more shady than you can ever imagine, and if you dont know what your doing, id suggest just avoiding it, or someone will rip you off one way or another
