Day-To-Day</td><td valign="top">Gardner, who is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Orioles, will undergo an X-ray on his injured thumb, the Journal News reports.
Spin:
"Obviously I'm concerned about it because it's something that I had a problem with before," Gardner said, referring to a broken thumb that landed him on the DL last season. "I don't expect it to be broken, but I didn't expect it to be broken last year either. Hopefully I just strained it a little bit or tweaked it a little bit and I'll be back in there tomorrow." It's hard to know anything at this point until the results of the X-rays are available, so all we can do is wait.
