On Saturday, June 5, I deposited $975 into Sportbet.

At the start of business today, Wednesday, June 9, my balance was up to $13,138.10.

I'm going to continue playing until at least the all-star break, and then I'm going to request a withdrawal. Assuming I don't blow my entire account in that period of time (which is by no means unlikely) I view this as an important test of the new Sportbet/5 Dimes conglomerate.

If they pay timely, this thread will (hopefully) serve as evidence of their being a stand-up shot who can take a significant hit and act responsibly and fairly. If they tarry, then the whole Rx community will know about it.

I hope to be able to give them very, very good publicity.

Full disclosure: I've been a Sportbet player since 1999. I could QUADRUPLE the amount of money I currently have in my balance, and it still probably would not equal the amount I've LOST to Sportbet over the years. So while the end of this experiment may not be an accurate indication of how SB treats newbies, or players who have beaten them (as I will undoubtedly still be in the red against them after the all-star break), it should nonetheless show how reputable and stand-up a shop they are.

I certainly hope you're right. SB has had some issues in the past, but I always found their upper management (including Jake, who was there for a long time) extremely helpful and cordial - which is why I've been with them for so long. But whenever there's a takeover, even if it's from as reputable a shop as 5 Dimes, there's reason for pause.

In any event, my sincere hope is that the ultimate result of this "experiment" is to shed a positive light on 5 Dimes/Sportbet and their operations.

Why don't you ask for a payout now?You deposited $975.
Why not ask for a 5k payout. That still leaves you with a good amt of funds there. You could also send the 5k to another book.If you want to keep all the funds in action.
Congrats on the nice run..

I have a standard 30-day hold on deposits agreement with them, which I honor.

Thank you for the well-wishes.
