I don't have the ticket anymore but I'm pretty sure it was $25 to win $1,195. Last year I hit a $10 one that paid just over $2,000. It came down to needing two big things to happen:
- Pablo Sandoval hitting a walk-off 3 run HR on an 0-2 count w/ runners on 2nd and 3rd vs the Nationals for the Giants to win 9-7. They were up 5-1 after 6 innings but then fell behind 7-5 going into the bottom of the 8th. This was a RL bet.
- Red Sox scoring 2 in the 8th and 1 in the 9th to beat the Angels in LA 4-3. This was the only game in the bunch that I bet on the ML too. No idea why but I did.
Ironically enough, Justin Masterson was the starter for the Red Sox that night and was the starter for the Indians last night.
