To hopefully make the ref think twice the next time there might be close contact or no contact at all.

I thought he may have hit Gasol's head a little bit but certainly never should have been called a foul even if there was contact.

If I were a Boston fan I would be more concerned about bad shooting than the refs at this point. Poor shooting has cost them more points.

agree - the refs haven't helped, but seriously - how many shots inside 3ft can you miss?!?!!

positive side for the C's is that they played pretty poorly, with very little cohesiveness, yet they're only down a few points.

What got Pierce the offensive foul is he had his head down and the ball cuffed in his hands as if he wasn't even looking to get a shot off or even pass it.

I'm rooting for Boston in this series for various reasons, but the Celtics have easily received the benefit of the calls AND no-calls in this series so far and the only thing that's kept them in it.

I know a lot of us disagree but hey that's what makes talking about it interesting.....

Not in this game they haven't (IMHO). The calls against Rasheed were god-awful. He never even touched Gasol, and they called the foul. I'm so sick and tired of them
calling fouls without even seeing the actual foul.
