We'll see. They are saying that Baylor, Kansas and Oklahoma are banding together to try to keep the Big 12 alive. They may be targeting the top teams from some of the non-BCS conferences to come in and take the place of the teams leaving.

I, for one, love all of the movement. I'm a Texas fan and can't wait to get the chance to play Oregon, UCLA, Arizona St, etc. Not to mention the rivalry that will grow with USC.
This can only be good for the teams in the smaller conferences too.
My question is....what are the Big East, ACC and SEC doing right now? The SEC will likely be just fine, but have I missed the talk surrounding the other two out East? How is the Big East of now going to compete as a conference with the new Pac-16, Big-16 and the MWC?

And what exactly will these schools do with the money? Buy new equipment for the golf team? Fund another scholarship for a Kenyan distance runner?
12-team football conferences are bad enough. But imagine a 16-team Big Ten. Nebraska could potentially win the conference without playing Ohio State, Michigan, or Wisconsin. What kind of championship is that!?!?
