reds get up 4-0 then down 5-4 in bottom of 8th and manage to score 1 run to tie game after having bases loaded with no outs. tie game after 5-5. bottom of 9th 1st two batters single runner on 1st and 2nd with no out, takes hitter out for a pinch hitter and does not bunt (how can you not bunt in bottom of 9th with 1st and 2nd with no outs, would not even need a hit to win game and not like you lit it up last inning with bases loaded and no outs) and i,2,3 outs and no runs extra innings.
royals score in top of 11th to take a 6-5 lead with run scoring because of a walk; onto bottom of 9th and get a leadoff single by hernandez; now dusty decided to bunt, good sac bunt runner to 2nd. #2 batter phillips up but why is hernandez who pinch hit and is catcher still in game at 2nd and no pinch runner. phillips hits soft single to right field and my 58 year old ass could have scored on but they hold slow ass hernandez at 3rd. pop out; fly out end of game. you have to make them throw you out here as if he cannot score on this hit he would not score on fly ball unless it was to the warning track.
