Drug screen Question?

Im going in on Monday to take a piss test for a job. I accidentaly took a high blood pressure pill this last tuesday. (long story) Anyhow Im wondering if anyone knew If there may be something in there that would show up on the results. Dont really want to have to bring that up If I dont have to. Really worried about this any help would be appreciated.

I think you should be OK, usually they just check for pot and coke.
Booze is liquid, and is gone in 8 hours.

You have nothing to worry about. Blood pressure pills are not narcotic.

Drug tests do not test for antihypertensive medication.

I had a friend who was an alcoholic. He went in for a piss test and failed due to high alcohol levels. He couldn't even stay sober for one day.

That's sad, I have a lady friend who works for LabCorp, she says if you have to take a pee test at 2pm on Tuesday, and if you have a couple of beers on Monday night, you'll pass easily, but if you down a fifth of scotch, no.

Doping test are specificly oriented, so they will be searching for narcotics, not regular meds!

Thanks for all your input guys. I feel alot better now. As far as the alcohol test goes a person could actually drink a 12 pack or so today and be fine for the test on monday?

Trust me on this, I had a like 3 shots and 5 beers watching my NY Giants on a Sunday afternoon, and took a pee test on a Monday afternoon, and came back clean as a whistle.

Yeah, drink up today Buddy, you'll easily clear Monday, if you want a piece of mind, take Sunday off from drinking.

(I don't drink of Sunday's myself unless it's NFL season, I like to start the week off clearheaded)

Not that Im worried about it but how long do drugs stay in a persons system. I always kind of wondered about that?
