It's these horns that are traditional to South Africa. Some players complained last year during a mini tournament in South Africa that they couldn't hear on the field, however the horns were not banned. You'll hear them every single game. Yes they sound like bees.

man. this never bothered me before until I read a few post here about it and now it drives me absolutely insane and I can't enjoy the game. damn yous lol.

ye it pisses the fuk outta me too. There's been a few instances where I've seen the players fukup then point to their ears trying to say they coudn't here.

After three days of play, this tournament is looking to be a real borefest, hence could be a disaster for ratings

Ratings only impacted stateside. With that being said, the France game on Friday, may have been the single worst game I have seen in 6 World Cups. Games where teams are playing for a tie are better.

These games have all gone under. Wow. I wonder if this will continue much longer into group play & if it does will we start seeing 2 as the standard over/under instead of 2.5 from the books?
