I like watching some football, baseball, etc....but really would have not much interest if there wasn't some form of gambling involved. I would watch foots, but probably not much else if money wasn't wagered in some form.

How much do you actually know about sports? Me, not too much. I can't list all the teams in the Big 10, Big East, etc.....Never really had an interest to learn all that.

So, I'd give me a 4 to 5.

I'm a Sports Fan, With or Without Gambling.

But the number grows if I have a Wager

Non-Wager about a 5-6

Wager .... 10

I'm also like Steak in a way, Can't really watch Basketball.....Maybe the last 3-4 minutes
Don't mind watching Football, Pros or College

Not a Big fan of Hockey, so will Only watch that if I'm at the Game.

Watching lots of sports, even without action. Starting with MLB, NFL, College Football/Hoops, sometimes even soccer (although I watch less and less soccer, if it's not the World Cup oder European Cup). Also watching the tennis grand slams (almost never bet tennis though), olympics, winter olympics, biathlon world cup, ....but barely watch NBA anymore, stopped watching about 3years ago. Similar thing with the Tour de France, enjoyed watching the stages in the mountains, but lost more and more interest... so overall I would guess still pretty close to a 10, just love to watch a good competition.

My life has revolved around sports, especially college sports, since I was about 7 years old. I've never really had many other interests. The opportunity to wager is great if I have an opinion, but I would love sports just as much without gambling. CFB Saturdays are like religious holidays to me and everyone in my family, and they always have been. CBB is great as well. Baseball is my 3rd favorite sport and I still like it quite a bit.

Same here!! CFB #1, NFL 1A, 2nd, 3rd & 4th, CBB, Golf (Majors), MLB. Everything else is only a last resort. Do like the horses tho, IF I'm there to place a small wager. Love Oaklawn.

I quit being a fan years ago. I've been fading my alma mater(University of Oklahoma) since I was 20 years old.

10 easy for me...As far as knowledge of the different sports. I can name The teams in each conference and most of the players for college bball. Football I would be able to tell you the vast majority of the skill position players and coaches. Nba, MLB and NFl I could rattle off each team and players excluding the lineman for football, and also where they went to school. I don't study this kind of shit it just came from years of watching sports and gambling. I'm sure there are many that can do this kind of stuff it just seemed that most were saying they didnt know too much on here. Knowing alot doesn't help any as I lose just as much as anyone else.

10 for pros, 7 and dropping for college. College basketball is a shell of 20+ years ago, and the greed of college football is causing it to go down the same path. Until the colleges agree on balancing schedules out, it will be a far cry from the pro game.
