Only David Stern and the refs know the answer.

No Perkins for Boston...that's a big loss for them. The first thing that pops into my mind is that Boston is going to probably have to make a lot of three's to win.

If I was going to put money on the game, I'd bet on the Lakers, but my heart is with the Celtics.

Going back to LA, I thought for sure the Celtics had this series. When Perkins went down early in game 6, all that changed. That game changed, and in a lot of ways the whole series did. Perkins gets overlooked because he is the only starter who lacks offensive skills, but in some ways his absence will be felt more than even someone like Garnett.

The way these playoffs have gone, its tough to wager on a team catching the points but who you dont think will win, even with a 7 point cushion.. points just havent mattered much, and I am no longer as confident in the C's chances of taking the title.

Amazing to me how when Celtics go up 3-2 in the series the media is saying Celts all but have clinched championship. All they have to do is win 1 in L.A.Well, that is still the case here. Nothing has changed except Perkins is out. That hurts but not critical in my opinion.

I'm just hoping for a great game more than anything.I am rooting for the Celtics though. It's gonna be tough without Perkins but these C's have battled through some hard times and I think they can rally together and take this one home.
Here's to a great game and may the best team win!

The more the total goes down, I'm thinking this is the one that goes over. The Celtics will put up more points than last game, especially because no matter who they replace Perkins with their offense will become better. On the other side, Perkins is their most important defender in the paint, and when he got hurt last game they more or less scored at will.
