A double play for me on this one

You could argue that this just might be the best offense he has faced yet. I don't think they will have any problems with him. I will get heat for making this prediction, but I think his era will end up around 3.50 or a tinge higher before the season is done. He's faced a lot of terrible offenses and taken advantage of it so far. I will fade him on Thursday and roll with the Twins. We will slowly see his numbers come back down to earth over the next month. GL Thursday Wagers.

If I had to pick, I would choose the Twins at home, but it's close. Regression is coming in some form for Jiminez and the Twins have a pretty solid O. I'm concerned with their bad numbers against fastballs since Ubaldo throws them 60% of the time, but his go to out pitch is a change, which is a pitch Minnesota has had success against this year.

Liriano throws his slider an amazing 33.3% of the time and the Rockies are one of the worst at hitting sliders. Considering Liriano's is one of the best in the league this year, I imagine a really solid game for him today. Like I said, it is close IMO. However, having the statistically better pitcher so far this year (at least in the FIP department) as a dog is intriguing. I might drop a small wager on the Twinkies if I'm feeling good in the next couple of hours.

Well I was completely off on that play. Time to go and see what the rest of Thursday Baseball card might have to offer or perhaps if the NBA game #7 offers anything. If I play anything I will start a new evening thread in this forum or a thread in NBA forum. Fellas, thanks for the good words. We will take care of business on the next one.
