I know we all win here, but how about debt?

About 2 years ago i ran up abou 40k in debt, ain't proud of it, but it is paid now.

I do it more for recreation now. Going for that big score or that monster run buries you more times than not.

it's funny, i was talking about this with a friend last night, kinda relates to the topic:

The worst thing gambling did for me was almost desensitize me to money.

for instance $1000 meant nothing to me, when it certainly should have, which never made me take my debt management as seriously as I should have years ago.

$0. Have never gambled on or with credit.

Same here. I've actually NEVER in my life ever been able to find a local. Crazy, bacause i've looked, asked around, put out alot of feelers and nothing or no one solid every materialized. I've even offered some bar tenders and the like a finders fee if they could hook me up with someone legit. Many tried but came up empty. Close as i've gotten is those parlay cards at a local bar. So i'm online only, no credit there.

I've been betting for about 3.5 years now and have run up a $1,200 debt in total to date.
I bet in the 10's and 20's mainly with 50 being the highest and normally sweat them.
I'm in my early 20's n have a full-time job with plenty of cash, but because i never managed my money properly at the start.. I'm reluctant now to just chuck down a $1,000 and follow a proper system, because I'm scared that if it will fail that I will just run my debt up even more. And even though i am So farrr from the red it doesn't even matter, its just the fact knowing that I've lost that much to sport gambling will make me angry cos it was just a waste I could have used on something else..!!

Also it's hard to tail someone midway through a season. So I'm waiting for NFL college n pros to start n tail someone n stick with them for the duration instead of moving around.!

I remember the good old days betting $20 on a 3 teamer consisting of 3 small home favorites. My first ever bet was a parlay and it won. Gambling was fun back then. Now it's profitable, but significantly less fun.
