S & S was funnier. All in the family relied too much on racist humor. That disgusts me.

This is not even close. Sanford and Son is a classic. Not so sure about All In The Family

Archie Bunker is one of my favorite characters so I have to go with All in the Family.

AIF by a landslide, it was a groundbreaking series circa 1970-1976 that touched upon taboo subjects. It was THE show, in it's time. Surpassed by Seinfeld these days, but THE most important show of the 1970's.

Man attempts to hold up gas station with caulk gun

By Lindsey Bomnin | Friday, June 18, 2010, 11:51 AM
Police have issued an arrest warrant for a man accused of injuring a gas station clerk while attempting to rob him — with a caulk gun.
The suspect fled the scene in the company of a transgender prostitute he’d picked up earlier in the evening, according to an affidavit issued by the Travis County Sheriff’s Office.

What a great argument. I have the box sets of both. I guess AITF by a hair. Both, along with The Jeffersons are my top-3.

That "Math" scene with Archine Bunker and George Jefferson is one my father's all-time favorites. Watching the scene is funny enough, but watching my dad watch it makes me laugh way more.
