I like Denmark -0.5 +160. Denmark didn''t play that well in opener against Holland, but they do have very tough defense and they should get their game going better against Cameroon

Probably won't bet anything here: Denmark showed a good defensive effort vs NED and during their whole qualifying matches. They stand pretty deep, give up much space until their opponents get about 40m in front of their goal and then they pressure the ballhandling player, who normally gets double-teamed by the Danish defense. Cameroon didn't play many fast attacks vs Japan and therefore should struggle with that kind of (physical) defense.
But on the other and Denmark had one of the worst scoring attacks in Europe, if you compare them to the other teams that made it to the world cup. Today they will change their formation and add a 2nd forward, who unfortunately is infamous for needing like 100 chances to finally score and even miss the easiest shots...Cameroons defense was horrible in the past, they still made several bad mistakes vs Japan and their goalie is bad.
If I had to chose, I'd probably go with DEN+0 -117. Denmark actually can live with a tie here since they need to win vs Japan in their final game anyways unless they beat Cameroon by 2 or more goals. Cameroon on the other hand is in a must-win situation since a tie would pretty much eliminate them from the world cup.

Best bet on board seems to be a prop bet on yellow cards: Larrionda from Uruguay shows rather few yellow cards (at least below avg) and Denmark seldom gets more than 1 yellow card in a game. Since Cameroon doesn't play a fast style of play, there shouldn't be many situations where the Danish defender is one step too late and fouling while trying to tackle. The Danish team is also rather quiet, they don't complain much during the game.
Cameroon's defense is unorganised and prone to creating situations, where their opponent has more players in the area of the ball, which leaves the defense often times with fouling as the last solution to prevent a scoring chance. They also complain often times (esp. guys like Etoo) and they have a couple of players, that can be easily provoked. Denmark also relies on quick counter attacks and these counter attacks can quickly draw yellow cards, when a defense fouls to get back into their own half and re-organise.
Therefore I'd say best bet available is the h2h/Asian Handicap on yellow cards DEN +0.5 -125.

Took Draw +220
well, if you have the dutch to win this group like i do, that is exactly the result i will be looking fer...neither of these 2 teams has any distinguishing traits that would lead me to believe one is better than the other...on the draw also..

Wow, I took Denmark thinking a defensive 0-0 draw.... but that Danish defense did not look as good as advertised.

I took Denmark -1/2. The Danes are moving the ball well but breaking down on defense as are Cameroon.

One thing I can't understand is a Danish player was at least 20 yards away from another defender on the left side of the field yet he was standing offside and the ball was passed to him. It's not like he ran offside roughly when the ball was kicked. He was standing offside! Wouldn't you work to get back onside being so open like that?

No, quantumleap: The reasoning was ok, especially since the 1st Danish card went against the goalie for taking too much time.
But I wanted to bet on CAM to receive more yellow cards and stupidly misread the bet...DEN+0.5 won, so did I, but I took the wrong side. :ohno:

Just dumb luck this time.
