FWIW, my opinion is he'll go to NYK if he doesn't re-sign.

Seen this at +400 to +450 in most places right now..

He won't go Bulls, he won't wanna deal with all that jordan legacy stuff.
He won't go LAC cause even though its underrated in terms of how attractive it could be, he won't take that type of risk with Sterling as owner.
He won't go Nets, I've driven through Newark and didn't like it so I doubt the best player in the world is playing there for 2-3 years before the Brooklyn move.
He won't go Mavs, Cavs won't do a sign and trade for what Mavs could offer.
He won't go Miami. Him and Wade are tight but their ego's are probably too big to play with one another, both wanna be the man.

NYK is the only team with cap room to sign both him and 1 of Bosh/Amare. I think him and Bosh endup there.

Thats my Summer of 2010 prediction, we'll see if I'm right in a few weeks.

Yeah I think it will be New York as well if he does decide to sign elsewhere.

There was this report recently....

LeBron James - F - Cavaliers </TD></TR><TR><TD>

</TD></TR><TR><TD class=bodyCopy>In a recent interview with ESPN Radio, Stephen A. Smith said that LeBron James is leaning toward signing with the Knicks "and that this factor played a role in Tom Izzo turning down the Cavs' head coaching job."</TD></TR><TR><TD>

</TD></TR><TR><TD class=vaLink>"From what my sources tell me, he still hasn’t made a final decision but he’s higher on New York now than he was a month ago," said Smith. "And the reality is that he is leaning more towards New York than he is towards returning to Cleveland. Izzo knew this." Apparently James' camp is making "in-depth" queries about Donnie Walsh and Mike D'Antoni. While this can't be dismissed out of hand, it must still be filed under "speculation."

Yeah, surprised its still +400 with Chi being +175 and Cle like +120. Its gonna be him and Bosh in NY.

If you feel like gambling I'd say take a flier on LAC or NJN at long odds (20-1ish)

If LeBron is all about making a legend of himself (Which he is) I think he should go to the Clippers.

If he can turn that franchise around, which is likely with some help with guys like Blake Griffin, that will really stick out....

I wouldn't count Miami out. I think him and D. Wade could make it work. I hope he stays in Cleveland, but it's looking more and more like he's not.

I don't thik there's any chance LeBron plays alongside someone of Wade or Kobe's caliber.

LeBron wants to be the man and wants all the attention.....

Honestly i think he's goin to the lakers.. kobe isn't getting any younger and kobe's talent level is on the decline.. the lakers will need someone to replace kobe when kobe retires..

Almost no chance he goes Lakers. Hache I agree going Clippers would be a legit move but with Sterling owning them its a longshot. If he would sell to David Geffen it is possible but he supposedly turned him down.

Him and DWade could definitely play together, but only room for 1 batman so I doubt it. I think Wade and Amare teamup in Miami, but alas there are no props on that avail that I know of.

My Bet as well as a very good source has said that the Bulls are his next choice if he leaves Clev.

Why wouldn't NY make sense D2?

I don't think Chicago makes sense.
Why would he want to go there & play in Jordan's shadow?

Hache.....The ego of these super stars is over the top, he would want to be a star in this town and I know people do not believe this but MJ would help him down that path until he got close to any of his records.

I agree about the ego G-Man, especially with LeBron James, but I will be very, very surprised if he goes to Chicago.

It's gonna be Cleveland or New York in my opinion.

Congrats to you all in Chi-Town if he does choose you guys, but I just don't see it happening.

Because he wants to win. You can't build everything through two max FA signings. Knicks roster is crap. If they max sign LeBron and Bosh then they will not sign Lee, they will not be able to do anything and have all their draft picks traded away. They ain't gonna win. Knicks have no PG. And they would have no flexibility to do anything. And their coach is Mike D'Antoni. In other words, he will not win there. And it would be a trainwreck. It comes down to loyalty/hometown vs best chance winning championships (Cavs vs. Bulls). Aside from that, I don't think he needs or desires a NY spotlight or is worried about anyone's shadow or anything else. Just an organization positioned for championships with him aboard. Ultimately though I think he will most likely stay with his hometown if they can make any kind of moves to improve the roster.

Why would NY make sense? Been proven they have no concept how to build a team. He is a megastar already, so play on the team who can win the fastest.

It makes sense because he wants to be in the limelight.

This guy is following Shaq's footsteps when he left Orlando simply becuause he wanted to be in LA where the action is...

How do you know the "limelight" is his motivation? He's Lebron James, he'd be in the limelight anywhere. Chicago would be plenty of limelight. I think he's torn between his ties to his hometown/loyalty and his desire to win championship(s). He doesn't need to seek out the biggest spotlight.

there is a reason chicago is +175 and NY is +450. Because NY is already out of the question. people making theese lines have well imformed ears everywhere and would not be offering +450 for NY if NY was even on lebrons radar. Cle,Chi,heat, nets, clipps in that order with the top 2 the big favs.

The heat, clipps and nets are all significantly lower odds than the Knicks. So your logic there is no chance he would go to those places either. I guess their well informed ears think there is no chance he will go to them.
