I don't know about amazing... It was good but I think the picture of she painted of herself was a bit too flawless...
I agree with you about another one not being published. She's got big elephant balls I'll give her that much. Would love an explanation on how Dave Greenberg was able to carry a figure for a significant amount of time after collecting several thousand dollars then re opening his account hitting a 7 team parlay for $40k or whatever and then getting paid in full immediately? That was real head scratcher :think2:
has anyone seen the movie? I was just writing something about sports gambling movies and it would be interesting to have opions
Couldn't possibly be as bad as "we were wiseguys and we didn't even know it" thinks that's the title of that piece of shit book. Read like a 10 yr old wrote it.
Book is better than the Movie IMO
Listen, Duke you know me. I'm a total moron. But, I read every day and usually nothing on the light side. I thought We Were Wiseguys and We Didn't Know it was a good read. I spoke to Scott telling him as much. At least his book lacks the stink of a second rate romance novel that puts gambling on the back burner. And, yes the movie was crap, but if you read the book you would understand why.
agreed...i don't know anyone as you say you do in this novel/movie...but the movie went absolutely nowhere...and apparently was an absolute flop...if i hadn't stumbled upon it here i would have never known they made a movie after the book.....
