Sunday Night:

BOSTON RED SOX -1 -116 (@5dimes)
(Kuroda & Buchholz both must start)

I debated between the ML and the RL (-1.5). When I seen that five dimes was offering the additional RL's without the hooks for this game (they do this from time to time on various national televised games) it made my choice easier. GL Sunday night!!

Damn kevy....i was for sure thinking you would be on the over....what do you think of that? Public has dropped it down to 9.5 from 10 and plus money still being offered on the under at a 84% clip. thoughts?

I had it in this order: Boston RL, Boston ML, Total Under. Went back and forth over RL/ML and when I seen the flat -1 being offered........that decided it for me.

You can make your own -1 line on any game, with less vig than the books offer for -1.

Can you make your own -1 on 5dimes with any game? When I first saw this game, I was thinking the Dodgers don't get swept. But then again it is a nationally televised game and it's Sunday. We all know weird things happen in baseball on sunday.

Illini, how the heck are you. Don't be a stranger my friend. What's the math/formula for this. Have never tried or even though about creating my own -1 line. Probaly like a good majority of players over the years never really even had on my radar or the thought of a -1 until Pinnacle and Bet365 had started displaying them a few years back.

5dimes offers the -1 in the rl drop down scroll box on select national tv games. I've never seen it offered on all games, unless I'm overlooking something when navigating their site.

All you have to do is make your risk amount on the RL bet the same as your win amount on the ML bet.

Way too much vig in any -1 line that a book will throw up. Just make your own. What is 5 Dimes -1 line tonight? You can get the best number on the ML and RL at other books, probably MB for both, and create your own.

Kevy, are you the one that I used to talk Pac-10 with a few years ago?

I think so. I'va always posted everywhere as "Kevy" if "Illini" and "FightingIllini" are you then? I'm here in Portland and follow the Pac-10 and post about it too at times. Some of my fellow Pac-10 posters give me a f*cking migraine so I avoid their threads and they avoid mine during Pac-10 football season.....LOL

I gotcha I think. So if I was betting 50 on tonights game and the RL was -1 1/2, I'd throw 25 on the RL and 25 on the ML?

Flyingillini at SBR is not me. I post there as Albert Pujols. I really only post on these two sites.
