LAKEHURST, N.J. - Officials locked down the Naval Air Engineering Center in Lakehurst, N.J., on Monday, resulting in traffic being blocked from entering or leaving the base.
Media Relations Coordinator Senior Airman David Carbajal said there were several incidents they he could not provide any more information about.
Carbajal said no shots were fired on the center, which was where the airship Hindenberg exploded in 1937.
