Im not a huge soccer fan, but have been getting into it somewhat because of the world cup. I've watched almost every match, and every foul that is called on a player they flail their arms in the air and complain like a bunch of bi***s they are. I swear I think half the NBA players are playing in the world cup IMO. Friggin' pathetic douches.

Hmmm........I think you're right to an extent, but I think both sports receive FAR TOO MANY bs & phantom calls from their officials......

At least the NBA does not run a stretcher on to the field every time a player is fouled

Yes, many of these World Cup soccer players have joined their NBA counterparts in taking theatre and drama classes in their off season and down time. I think some teams have toyed with the idea of making this a mandatory part of their players off season regimen. The new creed, if you can't win with your athletic skill, fck'm with your drama.

I agree to an extent, but alot of the fouls i've seen called in the World Cup are absurd. It's all about the acting it seems. If a player is just slightly bumped they'll get the call if they just fall on the ground and roll around. I used to think I liked soccer okay, but watching these WC games is like watching paint dry. And that noise coming from the stands!!!! WTF is that??? No wonder the crime rate in S. Africa is sky high and out of control. I want to murder someone just listening to it on TV.

Soccer players have been doing this shit MUCH longer than NBA players. It ain't even close.

Why do you think NBA flopping has become more extreme since the foreign influx? Those guys brought it to the NBA.

#1 flopper in the NBA is Ginobili and he's from Argentina (I know there are many american guys who flop but it really did start with the foreign influx and Ginobili is the Godfather of it.)

The only problem with the stretcher in soccer, is that when a guy is seriously injured, they move him around like a dead body.

Soccer needs to put an end to these guys acting like they have been hit by a sniper.
