Seeing various posts out there that Minnesota is considering trading Al Jefferson to Sacramento for pick #5.

That way Minny has chance to get DeMarcus Cousins and possibly Wesley Johnson as well.

I dont like the trade for Minnesota, seems like they are taking another step back.

What you think?

I think they would be taking a step back also. Al Jefferson is really tough, I think. A big who can score like he does is hard to find. He still young too (25). Very underrated...I think it would be a bad trade for the T-Wolves imo.

one thing i have noticed about the nba is that there are very few true centers that can play offense and defense, so when you have one you shouldnt give him up easily.

I agree as well, Big Al is a heck of a player and they know they'll get production at both ends, he's a proven commodity at this point.

always liked Al, but he seems destined to be one of these guys who always has the talent/numbers, but is always on losing teams and keeps getting traded.

I'm not saying its his fault, just seems some guys have these types of careers.

nobody in MN is excited about Al Jefferson despite that he is a nice person and a nice player.....Ive heard his name maybe 3 times his entire career by fans around the coffee pot.....if there is somebody new and young to take a shot on MN would be wise..there is less than zero T Wolves buzz in this town.....

jefferson cant play in the triangle. love is the better player. can pass, isnt a black hole. wolves want cap space for free agents. makes perfect sense to me

I think Sacramento would be the ones making the mistake here.....

how would they be taking the risk? youve already seen this guy can contribute on both ends of the floor at a high level. if you think theyre giving up a lot with the 5th pick, that might be true but they could also pick a bust. and even if there pick works out, how much better is he going to be then jefferson? there arent a lot of centers that have averaged 20-10 over the last 3 seasons. plus the kings would be a much better team with a legit center to pair up with thompson and evans. those 3 would be a very good nucleus to build around, and there all under 25. just my opinion but the kings would be getting the much better end of this deal

If the Kings do this, it'll be dalembert, jefferson, thompson, and landry all fighting for minutes in the post. Although it's a sick rotation, they need to focus on people complimenting evans at guard.

if this really happens, it's a really stupid move. I still can't believe they like darko as a starter better than k.love. no wonder why they have so many draft picks every year

ya i jsut heard about the dalembert trade. jefferson is much better so maybe theyll throw dalembert into the trade with jefferson, and ask minny to throw in another piece also. if they dont i agree things could get a little packed, even though landry and dalembert play different positions.

The one thing that would attract teams to Dalembert is his expiring contract at the end of the season. I think he is expected to make something like 11 million this upcoming season.

How is this a sick post? These guys are all 2nd team NBA players.

This is a good deal for the kings too as they would have dalembert n big al up front gobbling up the boards.
But it seems al isn't working in Minny with Kevin love so good deal for both teams if it goes through.
Maggette to bucks today was also a good deal i thought. bucks need bench scoring potency and maggette can provide it.
Some good trades so far IMO. the draft will tell the rest of the story. i hope arenas leaves too wall + him is just stupid
