Nats cant hit, one of the coldest hitting teams in the league right now.. Royals bats have been good all season..

Stras on pitch count dont expect him to go more than 5-6 innings. Royals best offense he's had to face.. Pirates/indians/chw..

Bannister is a much better pitcher in day games..

This price +240 is unbelievable..

+1.5 +105 is an awesome wager, especially considering the offensive woes the Nats have had.. I LOVE THIS ONE and expect this big doggy to cash!!!

Strasburgh has a 90 to 99 pitch limit. He is efficient enough to throw 7 to 8 innings before reaching triple digits in pitch count. He maybe rookie but he is easily the best pitcher in the league right now....yes better than Lincecum and Jimenez. I have seen all 3 of his starts and his pitches are ridiculous. I never seen a fastball move that much!!! Even if Strasburgh pitches only 6 innings, Storen and Clippard will get 1 inning each....those 2 are very reliable. Only way things can go wrong is if Capps fucks it up in the 9th.

KC +240 or the runline is obviously nice and juicy but I still have to pass. Bannister has been terrible on the road giving pretty much a run per inning. He does have a nice line of stats against Washington in 13 innings from the past, however this washington team is not the same from the past. Their bats may have been cold but they still have good line up and the are pretty good at home.

ya i cant fade stras either. The royals dont have a better lineup than the white sox. Paul Konerko alone is better thant the royals. I like the under.

I'm not saying that taking the Royals is a good play today, and i won't be doing it.

But....the point about Bannister in the daytime is dead-on. His ERA in day games this year is 2.81 in 32 innings. I remember last year, his ERA in daytime was ridiculous, it was like 2.15 and he was like 7-2. Something close to that...

Difference this year is that the Royals have the highest team batting average in the majors. Every one of their hitters from 1-8 has an average above .250. That means the pitcher has to get through a whole line-up where every hitter has a 1 in 4 chance of getting a base hit. No other team in the majors, including the Yankess, has that.

The Royals would be in first place right now except for two things: poor starting pitching and bone-headed baserunning decisions (they try to steal too many bases and get caught). Their bullpen is one of the best in the AL.

Strassy has looked dominant in his first 3 starts. On the road or at home.

The play is to stick with him or don't play it at all.

Here is why..

There is no question about that. Strasburg is great, but bottom line is he is a ROOKIE. A loss is coming sometime, and +245 last night got my attention immediately. The Nationals are my favorite team to play on when they have value, so I am not biased against them by any means, but had to go against here. GL :103631605

I have to agree, except Stras isn't the best pitcher in the league right now lol. But if you've watched his 3 starts you know he's the real deal. I tried to tell you guys twice before not to fade Stras, and I think today is a similar situation. Nats Rl or take a shot at KC RL small imo. BOL guys.

Had KC small, Stras is the real deal, the next big thing, yadda, yadda, yadda, but he's going to be overpriced, and all I know, despite his gawdy four start stats, he is a bankroll killer right now, if you are a flat better, his first two wins cleared you 200, but that ND loss in start three, wiped that out, and if you tailed Stras today, you are now out -230 or so.

Books are gonna make a killing any time Strassburg pitches. He'll always be favored and people will fall for it.

I love how KC wins today and not last night when I needed them. I have to remember even if a team burns me the night before, if there's value in them the next day just play em and don't be a bitch. Nice hit Gyno.
