As a Cubs fan, I can't take the Cubs. The hitting is bad, and the defense has really gotten shabby. They are real close to quitting on the season after this week. It's a damn shame. with all the starting pitching they have. Bad long-term contracts have killed this team.
I really don't know how Lou has not had a stroke yet. You dont get many chances against pitchers like Lee. 1st inning Cubs have 1st and 2nd no outs, than 1st and 3rd 1 out. All Nady needs to do is lift a fly ball to the outfield and a run is on the board, no, of course he grounds into the inning ending double play.
