Betting off numbers in well capped games will beat the closing line 90% of the time if you're a good capper.not here i like strong numbers on my side when placing a bet and try not to bet into false moves......gl.ck
it didn't say win 90% of the time I said you will beat the closing line 90% of the time which only ensures about a 2.5 to 5% edge or profit. By beating the closing line I mean you bet the Lakers as -12, and at game time the line moves to -13. Getting the extra point gives you edge, getting that edge most of the time is the difference of being in the black and being in the red. Sports betting is alway a grind, its about getting the best of that grind. Am I making sense to anyone?
I'm kinda new here and not familiar with Iceman, but I've had success in the NBA, NHL, and MLB the last 2 years beating the closing line. I'm gonna give the NFL and college sports a try next season. What happened to the Iceman, or whatever his hande was, who used to post
about this all the time here in the Offshore Forum?

Yeah its a tough business to be in thats for sure, but I only bet 1% of my bankroll on any given game and all my bankroll is in the bank. I live in reno and use the brick and motor casinos, but my biggest fear is being banned or limited. as an ex-Marine i've got good discipline. I live in Nevada and actually hate other types of gambling. I've only been at this for three years and am still building my bank roll. But with all business, there is always risk of going under.I noticed that after i posted. You sound very much like him.
If i recall he had a lot of irons in the fire, business wise, so may have packed it in
in the sports gambling department, especially with the "downfall" of Neteller and
Pinnacle a few years back. Fishhead was one who quit but is back in the game now.
Or it could be that over the years he was one of many who have fallen victim to
books going under, some of which were backed very strongly at various sports
forums, not mentioning any names.
Alternately there are those who are successful, maybe for years, but eventually
lose their discipline and go bankrupt.
