Huge Sox fan here and I have been raking it during this whole winning streak. I am trying not to be a homer here and I do realize they are gonna lose eventually. However, tomorrow's line just seems loony at only -135.

Danks is arguably the Wsox best pitcher and like the rest of the starters lately has been great. Dempster lost twice against the Sox last year and had a 7.84 ERA the year before against them. Cubs team seems to be in turmoil with the whole Z thing and they are not hitting at all. Sox bats have been very clutch. I thought this line would be sitting at -170 or -180 and was shocked to see it so low.

Am i just drinking Sox Kool -aid here or do i have a point?

I certainly feel the same way, scary to me though why it is so low, i'd almost feel more comfortable if the number was bigger

I hate the cubs...see the avatar...go crew...but dempster is pretty solid and the white sox can't win all of their games....i think maybe the linesmakers feel the cubs bounce back tomorrow

Yeah the line being so low scared me off too. However, The fact that the Sox have fared well against Dempster in the past and they are so hot right now is just too much for me to lay off. I mean the mentality that they have to lose eventually isn't a good one in my opinion.

Even if i flip a coin and it lands heads 10 times in a row there is still a 50/50 chance it lands heads again on the eleventh toss. They already have the biggest winning streak since 1961 whose to say it has to come to an end tomorrow. I think KC has a better chance of beating us at home then the Cubs do tomorrow. KC has a much better offense.

The line is way off. I have White Sox in a parlay with A's.

The spreadsheet I use that has netted me $2,000 in 16 days tells me that the ChiSox have a 68% chance of winning

Dempster is the better pitcher, but you're right in that the Cubs offense has been awful lately. The line has actually dropped to -130 and I'll probably thrown something small down here.

Even though its a loser, it was Sox or pass today. Just so hard to bet on a team that is slumping.
