Strasburg is a phenom, but all he can do is pitch. He can't catch and throw the ball on every play too, and neither can the Nationals - one of baseballs worst defensive teams. That, plus they likely won't hit Hudson, is why the Nats are a dog in the first place. I wouldn't touch this game with a 10 foot pole. This is the kind of game you should throw out and leave alone. I'm seeing it right now as Nats +110. O/U is 7. Don't expect the hook to go in and see it bump to 7.5. The books aren't that stupid. They'll get plenty of action on 7.
But not even Strasburg is a magic bullet for this crummy Nats team. Which is why in his 4 starts, despite how well he's pitched, the Nats are just 2-2. I don't think it's a good bet. But that's just me. There's got to be better games on the board than this. I'm betting the public loads up on the Nats. And they might win. Doesn't mean it's a good bet though.
