They finished a late game against their in-state rival and got destroyed for the second night in a row, and now they have to catch a long flight to Milwaukee where they already lost one series earlier this year. Brewers stayed at home and shut out the Mariners.

Houston is 7-18 in the first game of a series this year. Damn.....the stats I use to pick parlays are telling me that both the Cardinals and Twins are better plays than the Brewers. But it's hard not to want to fade Houston tomorrow.

Houston also had an awful starting lineup yesterday and rested pence. Depending on the lineup, I wouldn't say houston is out of this game, their best hitters hit well vs lefties.

Maybe another parlay: Brewers and Braves total under 7.....or maybe not

Done, but got Brewers/Braves under 6.5 cause I waited too long. Parlay is +191

So two parlays for me tonight, total of $544 on the hook to possibly win $929. Looks like I'll be drunk tonight one way or the other.

berkman getting a rest

Houston lineup is incredibly poor. the 6-7-8-9 hitters will be Feliz, Castro, Navarro, Norris. ouch

Motivation is overrated in baseball. It's not a taxing sport, and professional athletes will compete almost every night out. People bet the WSox yesterday because they said the Cubs would lay down. That's not happening in MLB.
