Phildaelphia Inquirer's Stephen A. Smith joined the show to talk about LeBron James' future

Smith said that he has heard from multiple sources that LeBron is going down to Miami with Chris Bosh to join Dwyane Wade on the Heat.

Smith thinks James and Wade would be a great combination and their strengths and weaknesses complement each other. "I don't think there is any question that it would work," Smith said.

Dan asked if it's highly likely or a done deal. Smith said "highly likely." Smith said with LeBron, you can't be 100 percent sure. "I wouldn't say anything is a done deal until he signs," Smith said.

Smith said at one point he thought that LeBron was headed to the Knicks.

I'm not a huge NBA fan anymore but that would be unbelievable.
It would be, and I hear ya regarding the NBA.

If the Celtics didn't have a good team this year I would have paid much less attention.

Damn league just wears on you after a while.

miami has 3players under contract right now, mario chalmers, james jones and beasley. if they sign bosh, lebron and resign wade that would take all there cap room. they would have to sign 5min salary players. Wade is getting old fast

He doesn't work for ESPN. He's with Fox Sports Radio now. 3 days ago, this rube was saying that Lebron was a lock to sign with the Knicks.

If he signs with the Heat, is he the top banana in Miami? Maybe, but maybe not. Wade has been there a long time and is going to still think that it's his team. I would think James and Wade would be more like 1 and 1A. I don't think James wants to be part of 1 and 1A. He wants to be the king.

Is Pat Riley going to run the kind of offense that James wants to play in? Riley has a pretty big ego.

Not sure Miami has the cap space to sign all three, but if they did, I could start at center (im 6 foot) and we'll skip having a point guard and still win 50 games.

I just heard Lebron is going to the Lakers. Kobe promised him lots of bitches and Artest promised he wouldn't shoot a 3 all year. Deal is contingent upon Gasol getting a haircut and shaving that nasty beard.

Dwyane Wade is one of those rare superstars who can put his pride aside and play with someone like LeBron.
D-Wade knows it's all about winning and that's all he wants, to win rings.
He would be willing to be that "2nd guy" on the Heat.

Jim Rome was talking about this earlier today saying the no state tax could could play a big role in LeBron headed to Miami, not to mention all of the hot Mamis which I'm sure could be mentioned as well and you have to be realistic that does matter to someone as young & popular like LeBron.

What better place to live it up than Miami..
