have a feeling the Mets could get pounded tonight.

last time these two teams played the Marlins had a 6 run lead in the 6th and Fredi Gonzalez lifted Nolasco after loading the bases on 2 bloop hits and a seeing eye single with 1 out and only 85 pitches. Well the Florida pen blew the game and the Marlins lost. I would think this is still eating at Nolasco and the Marlins and they will be going for the juggular tonight. Mets never play well on the road against the Fish. this game is in Puerto Rico so who knows but IMO Marlins are a solid play tonight.

Recall the game well. If you recall, Mutts were my POD that day and we were watching it progress in those later innings. Big difference tonight though, Dickey pitching, not Takahashi. I'll probably end up going Mutts again, Nolasco sliding right now. GL

also RA Dickey has been a huge bright spot for our rotation but lately he has been working with a TON of runners on base and been getting really lucky getting out of big jams inning after inning. Sooner or later he is going to get burned n that possibly could be tonight...

Dickey getting roughed up so far just like I thought. For some reason I have this twisted feeling we are going to have a repeat of the last game and the Fish are going to meltdown and blow this big lead. god I hope not. hopefully I just put the reverse jinx in play by saying it... :smoker2:

thanks for the kind words but I cant take credit for that. the line moved heavy in favor of Florida and our smart posters like olim and such jumped right on it....but glad I could help.
