Halladay gives up career-high 13 hits Roy Halladay - S - PHI - Jun. 30Roy Halladay took a complete-game loss Wednesday after allowing four runs in eight innings against the Reds.
Halladay struck out 10 and walked none, but he allowed 13 hits for the first time in his career and two of them were homers. He had previously given up 12 hits six times, most recently on Aug. 24, 2009. The loss leaves him with a 9-7 record to go along with his fine 2.42 ERA. The Phillies have scored three runs or fewer in all of his losses (and four of his wins).
