Love Marcum in this spot at -124.
2*

It's 15 minutes before umpire barks "play ball", so I donb't have enough time to write it up, but there are lots of good reasons to lay the small road lumber.

Blue Jays for me please.

I know, on paper this is the game the Blue Jays win.
But, you and I both know, games are played on green grass, not white paper.

on paper with the assumed lineups...but 15 mins before the game u had the info that wise green and molina were in......that 1/3 of the lineup playing like minor leaguers......on paper id say not jays game to win given the overhaul......

then u have the intangibles of hot vs cold teams...all very easy to say after the fact, and im not saying that tribe were ez pick....just saying that forget the intangibles of home away and whos hot and who isnt.....jays put a lineup out there masterson could dominate, and sustained rallies were not possible when they got guys on because they didnt put their best lineup out there, not even close

On paper, at 8am, before I had to go out, Jays looked like the play.
At noon, when I cam back, different.

yes, the benefits of seeing the lineup 30 minutes prior are magnified more with certain teams than others.......

in no way was i trying to be an i told u so....just saying i've kind of been in that spot so many times when id take a team before knowing the lineup prior to the era of pregame info being so easily available. 9-10 years ago...only to tune in and see the meat of the order was on the bench....

No, it's all good Zeke.
When I was a kid, we had to wait until Friday when "The Sporting News" came, just to have complete detailed baseball stats.
Today we have every stat imanginable updated a nano second after each and every at bat.

Zeke:

What website do you use to see the pre-game starting lineups ? Or do you have to watch/listen to the broadcast for that particular game to find out the starting lineups ?
