Cincinnati Reds ML -119 (10 Units)
So far I am 0-2 in this series and I was on the Cubs in both games. This could be a mistake to switch sides but I have to ride the hot teams and fade the cold teams and right now the Cubs are as cold as it gets. Things are not about to get better for this team who have scored only 2 runs in this series while being outscored 15-2 in the process because they have to face Johnny Cueto who is 2-1 in his last three starts while allowing only 17 hits in 20.2 innings pitched, with an ERA of 0.87, a WHIP of 1.11 and 3.3 runs of support per game in those games. The Cubs are hitting .189 against right handed pitchers in their last 10 games and since starting their homestand against Pittsburgh earlier in the week, they have managed to score only six runs in five games. On the mound for the Cubs is Randy Wells who has somewhat struggled in his last few starts going 0-1 in his last three starts with an ERA of 4.26 and a WHIP of 1.42 with the worst part being that he gets only 1.7 runs of support from the offense in those last three starts. I would love to think that the Cubs can bust out of this slump and show up with their bats today but again they are hitting only .189 versus right handed pitchers in their last 10 games and Johnny Cueto should continue to line of good pitching for the Reds in this series seeing how the team is 11-5 when he starts this season. I will continue to ride the hot train that is the Cincinnati Reds.
Trend of the Game: Cincinnati is 10-2 in Johnny Cueto's last 12 starts.
Cincinnati 6, Chicago 4
