I don't know, I feel safer laying -180 with Andy today then laying -180 with Stras.

Speaking of wood, I just saw a picture of Stras's g/f, now I am sporting wood.

but Stras is facing Dickey ( who seems to be coming back to earth) not Ricky Romero

Stephen Strasburg, Wealthy and Only 21, Just Got Married

1-liner, Athlete Wives, Baseball TheBigLead January 22nd. 2010, 12:00pm
Stephen Strasburg: The Washington Nationals newly-drafted star pitcher got married recently. His wife is Rachelle Lackey, seen at the right. (If you click on the photo, perhaps you’ll agree: Lackey kinda sorta looks like Rachael Leigh Cook.) Strasburg is only 21, and last year he signed a 4-year, $15 million deal. Baseball players are on the road more than any other pro athlete; the travel is so exhaustive that not even Doug Christie’s wife could handle the road trips. Will Strasburg be able to avoid the randy road beef? We hope Strasburg’s wife receives a warm welcome into the Nationals’ mediocre “wives club.” [Wash Post]

agree BUT alot of that is because the opposing starter knows what he is up against and wants to bring his absolute A game as well. Hudson n Bannister did just that. That is not something Dickey is capable of. With a knuckleballer its hit or miss, he either has a good one or doesnt. Dickey was outstanding the first 7 starts but it now seems he is searching to get that back. His last 3 starts have been bad, the first 2 he got lucky and stranded a TON of runners on base but in his last start, Florida cashed those runners in. If the trend continues Washington will have plenty of opportunities today which should be more than enough with Stras on the hill.

those games have an effect on the outcome on the diamond in this game? :think2:

You gonna lay -175 on a great pitcher and the rest of the team that suck and very bad and cannot play defense on the ball? Goodluck but no way im laying that price on the nats when the yankees can be had for only -180 (wouldnt say they the play just saying) id take my chances with them before this horrible nats team. Not saying it wont win but very risky. goodluck
