Most folks stay at the Holiday Inn on Packer Ave. It is walking distance to the Wachovia Center.
It’s not too expensive either. The Hotel has a Sports Bar named Legends, for a few drinks.
and the OTB is across the street. (if you bet the ponies). ?
the Area is pretty safe ... all the sports arenas are walking distance from hotel.
