Baltimore Orioles

  • The season series is tied, 5-5, with the Orioles going 4-2 in Baltimore and 1-3 on Yawkey Way. Baltimore lost the season series in 2009, 16-2, as they were swept four of the six series.
  • Baltimore if 7-18 against left-handed starters this season.
  • The Orioles had won three consecutive one-run games before Friday's loss. They have won five of the last seven one-run affairs. They are 13-12 in one-run games this year.

  • During their current 17-4 run, the Sox have gone from a seaosn-high tying nine games under .500 and 9.5 games out of first place to two games off the pace.
