Two shot dead in Texas over World Cup dispute

Two men were shot dead by a gunman at a party in Texas after a heated argument over an upcoming World Cup soccer match, the online edition of The Dallas Morning News said on Sunday.

Four men were apparently involved in the early morning altercation at a house in Dallas, Texas, police spokesman Gerardo Monreal told the daily.

One of the men got a handgun from his car and shot two men, aged 17 and 28, the spokesman added without providing identities for either the victims or the gunman, who ended up also shooting himself in the leg.

The gunman was arrested and was recovering at an area hospital, Monreal said.
The police spokesman also did not mention which World Cup match the argument was about.

Its good to see that soccer is becoming more popular in Texas. lol. Texans take their sports "Dead" Serious.

All joking aside, its a good thing some of these competing countries have no-gun laws.

This moron will end up in Huntsville after he is convicted and in about ten years if he has a good lawyer get a lethal injection. Either way killing two people in cold blood with malice aforethought (he went out to his car a retrieved a weapon) including a 17 year old over a sporting event has ruined the rest of the guys life without a doubt. Odds booze was involved - out price, you can't make odds that high.
